The Communist Party – Soviet Union is dedicated to extending democratic control over the eRussian government and economy.
Most countries in eRepublik operate under the typical Capitalist model - a few Capitalists own the companies, competing against each other to gain more profits for themselves. This competition is supposed to keep wages high and prices low.
The CPSU believes there is a better way to manage the economy. If one entity controls the entire economy then all citizens’ needs could be met efficiently, without the need for the detrimental competition of a Capitalist market.
This one controlling entity cannot be a single citizen, because such power, if concentrated in the hands of a single individual, can only lead to corruption. The only entity capable of controlling the nation’s entire industry fairly is a democracy. Therefore, the CPSU advocates complete democratic control of the government and economy.
Obviously, democratic control of the economy will be opposed by Capitalists. That is because they are unwilling to surrender their profitable companies to the control of the People. Capitalists believe they have a right to make themselves rich.
Communists do not care about accumulating superfluous wealth; our only concern is the welfare of everyone and the glorious future of eRussia! We prefer a society where everyone works together to provide for everyone’s needs; a society where the People, through direct democracy, may decide the course of their economy and nation.
The battle against capitalism can be won by gaining and keeping political power. Once we have government control, we can use the state’s resources for the People’s benefit and make life very hard for the Capitalists! That is why we have formed the Communist Party – Soviet Union. It provides the means for the united masses of eRussia to defeat capitalism. Join us, comrade, and together we can create a better eRussia!
