Greetings Comrades!
I'm new to eRepublik, and I was thrilled to find the CPSU in eRussia. However, the current leadership and his media seems to be... lacking. With a little wiki searching I found this website, and after reading the 'Soviet Union Information' section, I am most interested in helping out.
I honestly don't know where the CPSU in eRussia stands or how it communicates. I'd appreciate it if someone would give me the low down, and what you guys on this site are doing currently. Something about eThailand?
I'm a committed Trotskyist IRL, but have always had a deep love for the dream and image of the Soviet Union. I'd be thrilled to have eRepublik be a place where people gain a better understanding of Communism, as well as take the fight to the Capitalist scum who play this game.
Once again, hello! May the Red Flag never falter!

Welcome comrade! This is our forum which we use to organise everything. You can also join the Internationale forum. Currently we don't produce much media, though we did when we ruled eRussia - the capitalist class used racism to turn the RL Russian masses against us. So we kinda went underground for a while - some of us went to eAustralia, or eThailand, or simply stopped playing - but you have joined us during our resurrection in the Motherland! Our main task at the moment is the revival of GOSPLAN, our collectively owned industries. We are working on the theory that political struggle in eRepublik is unecessary for the implementation of a socialist economy, so I guess the anarchists should be very happy. What this means is that we can create our own collectively owned industries without fear of repression from the capitalists. The main reason for this is that, in eRepublik, it is impossible for the capitalists to use the state to suppress socialist communes without also harming capitalist enterprises. However, it is possible for a workers' state to suppress capitalist enterprises whilst benefitting socialised industries at the same time! SO we can effectively create our own parallel socialist economy without having to gain political power in the game. The CPSU has been through poo loads of political dramas in our fight against the forces of reaction and many of us have reached the conclusion that we cannot hope to win political power in eRepublik without first proving with obvious concrete examples that socialist economics can work in the game. So feel free to offer your ideas and criticisms and if you are active enough you may even get elected to office!

Yeah, mainly trying to ressurect our party after the diddlywinks FRP...
Anyway, welcome. It takes new and dedicated players to get a movement going. That's how we defeated the FTM over a year ago now.
Man, I feel really old... lol eRep wise

Welcome to eRepublik, comrade!
To add on Duncomrade's post, we've been here now since May. Our membership grew from 5 members to 65+ within a month. We're having a whole bunch of problems at the moment.
The party political hierarchy is dead. The only effective and properly working Commissariats at the moment are the Commissariat of the State Economic Planning Committee and the Commissariat of Foreign Affairs. What this party really needs is an active leadership, which comes together and discusses these problems. The most important position in this party is open, the Chairman position. Most of our veterans, Foreign Legion, Eternal Winter and Duncomrade have already been a Chairman of the party. I'm quite sure I speak for the whole party when I say that we need an active Chairman!
Secondly we have the language barrier problem. Under the party haydays (which lasted all the way to the eRomanian occupation, last December) there weren't that many Russian-speaking players in the game, which made it rather easy for the party to publish everything in English. The problem today is that there's only a very little minority in eRussia that speaks English today. This is the main problem when it comes to the media-wing of the party. This also breaks down on our attempts to recruit workers to the Gosplan program, which forces us to recruit non-party members (who aren't far-leftists).
Thirdly, not that it matters to us, but our party is at risk of being TOed. The FRP (the nationalist party of eRussia) just got over a 100 fresh members from the baby boom which happened a few weeks ago. If we'd need political power, we'd need at least 300-400 members. If we are to even have a chance of recruiting people, we need to fix the two above mentioned problems.

I've gone and read a large part of the forums, and I think I have a solid understanding of GOSPLAN. However, I looked through the Q1, 2, 3 and 4 Communes and I'm a little confused. We're selling our wheat company under Q4Commune?
Anyway, you all seem to know what you're doing and are having some success, so when I expend all my food and get a little more wellness and productivity I'll send a PM to Q1Commune and perhaps get a job, I believe this is the proper procedure (and I notice WalMarx has one employee and plenty of diamonds).
Just so I understand GOSPLAN, how do we give the workers food, for example? Is there an item donation option in eRepublik? And does only the food manufacturing company actually donate the food to its workers, and not to the workers of other Communes? Or are the food and gifts sent to one 'distribution' company, which allocates the food, gifts etc., and sells the surplus?
I look forward to working with you all, and I'll keep informed.

I wish it was as easy as you're saying. No, we actually have to buy the products from ourselves and donate them as gifts to the workers. To make matters worse, we can only store 20 items in our inventory... Me and Maksim are usually too lazy to do that, so we just put our products on the market and hope that our workers will buy it haha.,

The Commissariat of Trade and Labor will launch the second 1 Month Plan 11th July. We're on a brief vacation at the moment.
Distributing food to the workers works in smaller communes, like Slovakia and North Korea. I haven't seen a distribution network like the one you mentioned anywhere in the larger communes, except PCP perhaps (the UK CP). However, we do distribute moving tickets, weapons and gifts though.
There's another reason why we're selling all the stuff on the market. The advantage we have over the capitalists (low wages) presents us the perfect opportunity to actually harrass them and literally extinguish them from the market. We can sell products as low as 0,4 RUB (if not lower), if I remember correct. If the capitalists go any lower then 0,5 they will produce a larger outcome then income. As Marx said, the capitalists that don't get enough money to invest in the company, they will naturally collapse and become a part of the proletariat.
