Split to the Bolsheviks? Or... Alpha Party?

Maksim's shout box says we've split from the CPSU to become the Bolsheviks (or Bolshevik Party). I can easily see why - Lenin (the player that is) is clearly a puppet of the eRA party. Just look at his new avatar if you have doubts. Not to mention our party's elections were screwed up by (I hear) Mauricenakov, and this hasn't been resolved. Mauricenakov was essentially bribing people to join the party anyway, and I doubt most of the party members had any idea about the forums or where we really stand.

Buuut, Maksim is in 'Alpha Party'? What's the deal with that? I wish I understood more Russian so I could deceipher the eRA party, and a bit of an explanation would be appreciated (I note the word 'Soviet' in their propaganda, as well as Soviet-era posters, etc.). I fully support Maksim and the core of the CPSU. It's a great pity that we can't keep the name 'CPSU', but 'Bolshevik Party' is a good alternative, imo.

Nothing is official yet. I have been arguing that we can never achieve anything with the name CPSU again. We're supposed to have a party meeting sometime soon in order to resolve this and a long-term political & economical plan. I was promised by pipetka, the president of the Alpha group that I can have the party. That is why I've proposed we move to that party and create the Bolsheviks. In this case, the name actually makes sense. The majority of the veterans broke away from the old party.

As Maksim said, nothing is official. I personally will not be joining any party other than the CPSU until things have been resolved and the party has come to a consensus on the topic.

God. Today is congress election day, and have you seen who "Lenin" has put forward for congress? Drones of the eRA, most of their presentations just link to the eRA forums, and they weren't on the list yesterday so I expect they snap-joined the CPSU just so Lenin could pick them.

And what the hell is with the eyes on their avatars? It's creeping me out.

Well, Eternal, unless you can find ... 40-50 members who will vote for our PP candidate, CPSU is lost. Everyone knows this is a fact.

I don't see what the big deal is about our name. What should matter most is our policies and our revolutionary committment. If what Ninyel says about Mauricenakov is true then we should definitely disassociate ourselves from them.

I sent 55 PMs and about 5 of them registered on these forums. Most of our members are probobly dead, quit or just inactive. Some party we have.

Currently we're in a party run by xenophobics, jingoists and other scum from the woods. Something has to be done, check the other thread in General Congress instead.

Lol, yeah. That news is very old indeed.

Whatever the more experience comrades decide, I will go with. You have fought very long and hard to build this party, so it's your call. I trust we still hold control of our communes, and our bank assets? eRA is stripping our party funds, but I guess we didn't have access to them under Mauricenakov either.

And btw, Babelfish translations aren't bad, expetially if you have a basic (or better ) understanding of how Russian works. And you can spell in English.
